Morland offer a broad range of decorative finishes on a variety of substrates to deliver a sophisticated solution in achieving a co-ordinated fit-out. For example, the same finish can be applied to MDF, aluminium and polycarbonate to allow clients to combine substrates depending upon the application of the profile. If it is simply no timber defects then MDF is appropriate. Less weight can be achieved with poplar, obeche or plastic. Greater rigidity comes from aluminium. For heat resistance polycarbonate is fit for purpose.
A choice of decorative foils is offered with differing levels of durability depending upon the wear and tear the finished product receives. This approach allows Morland to fine tune the profile to exactly suit the purpose. Costly laminates are only used where needed, but the overall look is a perfect colour match.
Our technical department can take a rough sketch to produce a fully detailed CAD drawing for approval prior to manufacture. Once approved that drawing becomes integral to the manufacturing process and is embedded within the work order.
Morland offers a wide range of profile conversion services. Click on our Joinery Services page to look at the machining and finishing options available.
